Internet obsessed? That's okay!
some ranting about the Internet...
Studying the internet and the way it effects our lives is a constantly unfolding, fascinating topic. How do adult perceptions of time spent on the internet differ from teenagers who have grown up always knowing the Internet, and therefore have a deeper understanding of it? How has the Internet changed the way we interact with each other? Why are many people obsessed with facebook? Do social internet experiments (like facebook and myspace) create a desire in young adults to be constantly connected? Or aware of what is happening in each other's lives on a more consistent basis? Do people present themselves differently on the Internet than in real life? Are you more likely to defy certain norms via facebook than you ever would in real life? What might be the potential effects of being able to be constantly in contact with other human beings?!

Synopsis
The Color of Fear is an insightful, groundbreaking film about the state of race relations in America as seen through the eyes of eight North American men of Asian, European, Latino and African descent. In a series of intelligent, emotional and dramatic confrontations, the men reveal the pain and scars that racism has caused them. What emerges is a deeper sense of understanding and trust. This is the dialogue most of us fear, but hope will happen sometime in our lifetime.
