Internet obsessed? That's okay!

Teenagers' Internet Socializing Not a bad thing

some ranting about the Internet...
Studying the internet and the way it effects our lives is a constantly unfolding, fascinating topic. How do adult perceptions of time spent on the internet differ from teenagers who have grown up always knowing the Internet, and therefore have a deeper understanding of it? How has the Internet changed the way we interact with each other? Why are many people obsessed with facebook? Do social internet experiments (like facebook and myspace) create a desire in young adults to be constantly connected? Or aware of what is happening in each other's lives on a more consistent basis? Do people present themselves differently on the Internet than in real life? Are you more likely to defy certain norms via facebook than you ever would in real life? What might be the potential effects of being able to be constantly in contact with other human beings?!
